Seminar Description

Topics: Project Management/Business Analysis

Sub-Topics: Agile, Program Management, Project Management

Step into a simulated lean-agile program world created for you. A world in which you will execute a complex product development program spanning business domains (marketing, sales, product management…) as well as engineering domains (SW, HW, systems, supply-chain…) end-to-end, hands-on.

This ultimate learning experience by doing will take 7 hours of your undivided attention. You will map value streams, form value stream teams, define roles and responsibilities, lead a discovery session to slice the program into agile and hybrid projects by capabilities, create a value-driven rolling wave plan, simulate an iteration, conduct showtime and a systematic retrospective (Kaizen).

Additionally, you will discover how best to:
  • Increase value stream efficiency by 10%-40%
  • Identify ROI+ opportunities
  • Balance stability and agility
  • Proactively negotiating scope
  • Deliver the highest value as quickly as possible
  • Reduce CoD (Cost of Delay)

Are you ready to go beyond the text-books and theoretical lectures? Based on over 200 lean-agile initiatives in the real-world, guided hands-on by the instructor, this learning experience is one you’ll never forget.

What You Will Learn

  • Identify agile and scrum, who uses it, and what challenges it resolves.
  • Compare the waterfall and scrum life cycles.
  • Describe agile, lean, flexible, waterfall, scrum, DSDM, and more.
  • Define pragmatic hybrid approaches: implementations from the real world.
  • Demonstrate how to reposition yourself as an agile project management professional.
